Drive-In Profiles for Reliable Expansion Joint Sealing
Drive-in profiles are used for secure and durable expansion joint sealing in building construction, civil engineering, and concrete structures. Depending on the application, EPDM drive-in box profiles, EPDM round profiles, and SBR round profiles are available. These sealing profiles are suitable for various joint widths, load conditions, and installation requirements, providing an efficient solution for sealing expansion joints.
Our range includes high-quality drive-in profiles for sealing expansion joints, connection joints, and construction joints. EPDM profiles offer excellent weather resistance, UV resistance, and chemical durability, making them ideal for long-term outdoor applications. SBR profiles are particularly suitable for applications requiring high compressive strength and mechanical resistance.
EPDM Drive-In Box Profiles
EPDM drive-in box profiles are designed for sealing expansion joints and provide excellent chemical and mechanical resistance. They are watertight up to 1 bar and allow three-dimensional movement absorption, making them a proven solution for durable joint sealing in concrete structures and demanding applications.
- For sealing expansion joints
- Suitable for joint widths from 15–70 mm
- Three-dimensional movement absorption
- Watertight up to 1 bar
- High chemical and mechanical resistance
- EPDM profile for long-lasting joint sealing
Available EPDM Drive-In Box Profiles
| Item No. | Suitable Joint Width | PU (m) |
| 5004132 | 15–25 mm | 30 |
| 5004134 | 20–40 mm | 30 |
| 5004135 | 27–49 mm | 25 |
| 5004136 | 30–60 mm | 30 |
| 5004268 | 35–70 mm | 30 |
Installation note:
For easier installation, it is recommended to coat the joint flanks with a 1–2 mm layer of InnoElast® Type 1 or InnoElast® Type 2 as a lubricant. Immediately afterwards, the box profile should be inserted into the joint. The combination of InnoElast® and the EPDM profile ensures reliable joint sealing.
The consumption of InnoElast® depends on the profile size and ranges from approx. 70 ml/m for the 34 mm × 34 mm profile up to approx. 170 ml/m for the 80 mm × 87 mm profile.
